Florence Henderson
You surely know Florence Henderson best as Carol Brady, but did you know she’s actually a ghost made of butterflies? That’s one of our theories, anyway. This week we’re joined by our own very special guest star, novelist Amy Spalding, who is extremely lovely but in ways quite different from Rowlf. We’re baffled by one song, delighted by another, digress into butts in white satin (who hasn’t?), and have some strong feelings as things really get started on Kermit and Piggy’s backstage romance/HR violation.

We do not condone bootlegs or illegal recording or sharing of media of any kind, but you know, if you happened to want to listen to The Brady Bunch & Florence Henderson's Complete Album/Cast Albums Collection (Including Music From The Brady Bunch Variety Hour) such a thing might be possible maybe.
At The Dance
On the one hand, this song is bad. On the other hand, we couldn’t stop ourselves from listening to every version.
Can someone who was alive in the 60s explain the song "Elusive Butterfly" to me?

When people covered it, they were signing on to "the poetry of rock." It might not seem like it on the surface, but there was in terms of cultural context and influence, only a short trip from Elusive Butterfly to Patti Smith. Really.

This song, meanwhile, is perfect in every iteration. Yes, even the Golden Grahams ad.
