Elton John
Hello, Yellow Brick Road! Did this episode go breaking our hearts, or did it…rock our crocodiles? Okay, that got very tortured very quickly. We know you lead elaborate lives so we won’t keep you in suspense: we didn’t really feel the love tonight for this episode, which was both a surprise and a bummer because we, like the Muppets, are fans of Sir Elton John! Sorry (seems the be the hardest word), Elton! I guess that’s why they call it the blues. But we would never let the sun go down on our very special guest stars, Mark Blankenship and Sarah D. Bunting, who took time out of their busy schedule talking about songs with each other to talk about songs and puppets with us!

With Our Very Special Guest Stars…Mark Blankenship and Sarah D. Bunting!
A co-host of the podcast Mark and Sarah Talk About Songs, Mark Blankenship has also contributed to NPR's Pop Culture Happy Hour, The New York Times, Variety, and Vulture. He was once a contestant on Jeopardy, and if you keep your eyes peeled, you might see him competing on a different game show in a few weeks. He remains scarred by that one Denny's commercial where Miss Piggy enthusiastically ordered sausage.
Enemy of the raisin Sarah D. Bunting is the other co-host of Mark And Sarah Talk About Songs, and she's also a co-host on podcasts Extra Hot Great; Again With This; and Quaid In Full, the latter two of which recently obliged her to assess how well Heather Locklear and Dennis Quaid acquitted themselves in the puppet-verse. Waldorf and Statler are hashtag squad goals.
