Avery Schreiber
ToughPigs’ delightful Anthony Strand joins us this week and we sure hope he’s willing to come back after we mostly crap on his favorite episode of Season 1. Oops! Of all the Muppet Show guests we’ve discussed so far, Avery Schreiber might be the most 1976. Or the most 1926. His face could be in silent movies, or on a Pringles can, or…a Muppet! Plus we’ve got dogs, cats, gorillas, koozebabies and…boobs? Something here isn’t kosher.

The Question Is...Who Cares?
Your hosts recently (after recording this episode but before publishing it) paid a visit to the Jim Henson Exhibition at the Museum of the Moving Image, and we were struck by how much this spreadsheet looks like the Google Sheet we use for podcast planning. But what’s relevant here is that if you look at what they erased it seems this episode was almost “Burns and Schreiber.”
Also the official name of “Koozebabies,” at least as far as museum tags go, is “Koozebanian Pups,” but never mind that jazz.
No Muppet Show ad in this week’s Times but this is relevant to our interests:
